Recognising the changing face of Australian optometry; national registration from 1 July 2010 and the significant participation from delegates throughout the country and abroad, Optometrists Association Australia Qld/NT resolved to give Queensland Vision a new, more nationally relevant name - Australian Vision Convention.

Same venue, same timing (always the week after Easter), same friendly service!

Confirmed speakers are Alcon-sponsored US OD Dr Mile Brujevic, optometrists Monique Hilford, Stephen Leslie and Liz Wason and ophthalmologists Drs Ioanne Anderson, David Hilford, Archie Lamb and Les Manning with twenty more to be added.

The program will be launched in October 2010 and will include three days of plenary sessions, dual streams, expanded CPR training opportunities, rapid fire sessions, panel discussions and sales training opportunities. Plus Australia’s second largest Exhibition Hall after ODMAFair! The CIBAVision Gala Dinner is at Dreamworld.
