Guide4Grads, an annual magazine for new graduates and optometry students, provides information to help students make a smooth transition from university to practice. The magazine includes articles on career options, areas of specialisation, therapeutic practice, interview skills, rural positions, legal and financial matters, registration and Optometrists Association support services.
Students keep Guide4Grads as a reference guide during university and beyond. It is a non-profit magazine published by Optometrists Association Australia.
Guide4Grads is published in June and distributed as a supplement to Australian Optometry newspaper. It is distributed throughout Australia to 700 students in all year levels at the three schools of optometry, 3,900 optometrists in private and corporate clinical practice, education and research; and to 300 other subscribers including ophthalmologists, optical dispensers, the ophthalmic optics industry in Australia and world-wide.
