Optometry's Night of Nights, 13 November 2010, Stamford Plaza, Brisbane

A new event especially for members the Optometry's Night of Nights will include an educational component comprising CPR training and clinical lectures, delivering 13CPD points. The evening will have more of a cabaret feel with less formalities, yet still include a sumptuous dinner and dancing to help celebrate the profession! Australian Vision Convention (AVC), 29 April - 1 May 2011, Gold Coast

The inaugural Australian Vision Convention (formerly Queensland Vision) will be held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre from 29 April-1 May 2011 – always the week after Easter!
Confirmed speakers are Alcon-sponsored US OD Dr Mile Brujevic, optometrists Monique Hilford, Stephen Leslie and Liz Wason and ophthalmologists Drs Ioanne Anderson, David Hilford, Archie Lamb and Les Manning with twenty more to be added.
The program will be launched in October 2010 and will include three days of plenary sessions, dual streams, expanded CPR training opportunities, rapid fire sessions, panel discussions and sales training opportunities. Plus Australia’s second largest Exhibition Hall after ODMAFair! The CIBAVision Gala Dinner is at Dreamworld.
